Code of Conduct

  1. Professional Attire:
    Faculty members are required to follow the prescribed dress code of the university. Any violation of the dress code may result in disciplinary action, as deemed appropriate by the administration.

  2. Prohibition of Substance Abuse:
    Smoking, the use of shisha, and consumption of any illegal or prohibited substances, including drugs, is strictly prohibited within university premises. Any faculty member found in violation of this rule will face disciplinary measures.

  3. Respectful Conduct towards Staff and Students:
    Faculty members are expected to exhibit professional and respectful behavior towards students, colleagues, and administrative staff at all times. Any form of misbehavior or unprofessional conduct will be dealt with through the disciplinary process.

  4. Protection of University Property:
    Faculty members must refrain from any form of writing, chalking, or spray painting on university property. Any faculty member found engaged in such activities will be subjected to disciplinary action.

  5. Identification and Access:
    All faculty members are required to display their official university identification cards while on university premises. Failure to comply may result in restrictions or disciplinary measures.

  6. Attendance and Punctuality:
    Faculty members are expected to be present and punctual during their scheduled working hours. Any unauthorized absence must be reported in advance to the department head, and a valid justification should be provided. In case of illness, a medical certificate from a registered authority must be submitted.

  7. Political and Sectarian Activities:
    Faculty members are strictly prohibited from engaging in any political, partisan, or sectarian activities within the university. Any violation of this policy will result in necessary disciplinary action.

  8. Classroom Behavior:
    Faculty members are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and decorum in the classroom. Disruptive behavior or any actions that undermine the academic environment will lead to disciplinary proceedings.

  9. Academic Integrity:
    Faculty members must uphold the principles of academic integrity in all aspects of their duties. This includes maintaining fairness in grading, promoting a positive learning environment, and preventing academic misconduct.

  10. Disciplinary Action:
    Any violation of university rules by a faculty member will be brought to the attention of the Dean and may be referred to the university’s Disciplinary Committee for review and appropriate action. Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include a formal warning, suspension, or termination of employment.
